I see one of those every day on static display at work.  I allways think it's the coolest looking little air craft.

Just all that hardware under the wings looks impressive.  It must use a lot of runway loaded up with all those add-ons.

They had the T-38 engines without the A/B's. I had a good friend that flew them in the SE Asia Wargames. I don't recall him saying they were underpowered.

To the contrary, IIRC.

The Wikipedia write up has a picture of the one at Lackland AFB   :)

I kind of like the family sized go-anywhere Albatross:

If I ever win the lottery, the first thing I get is an Albatross.

The tweet's a nice bird. One of the last jets to use a centrifugal compressor. Each of the engines looks like a large kettle drum.

The add said it has an 847 gallon capacity. I wonder how many lbs. per hour of burn it has and jet A isn't very cheap these days.   :O

After the first 5 hours of flying them, you don't need ear plugs........in fact loud noises don't ever bother you again.
