Title: Name Change
Post by: Wraith on March 23, 2008, 06:15:23 PM
Hello.  I love my name and all, but i'd like a different one.  I know one way;  delete my account and make a new name, but I don't know if the name I want will be open, and if it isn't then I couldn't keep my current name.

  Thanks for the help.

I think, if I remember correctly, all you have to do is call HTC and request a name change.

I did that once... too lazy to call so i cancelled my account and made a new one.

I ended up getting double billed that month, so emailed them and they sorted it out, but I got an earful from Carrie (well in text form anyway) about how I should have just contacted them to change it, rather than make a new account.

So don't be lazy ;)

I've changed my name a couple times in the last 3 years.  All I did was email Skuzzy.  Within a day or 2, he removes your old name, and when you next enter AH, just enter your new name.  You do lose perks, etc.
