Title: FSO: 1000 Miles (Aleutians) - Frame 2 Score
Post by: ghostdancer on March 24, 2008, 11:51:05 AM
Some quick initial stats. We had 428 pilots in the second frame (up 14 pilots over frame 1). Both sides did a good job on turning out pilots.

Now the allies max numbers allowed (not counting the +2 over that every squad gets) was 208. The allies had 199 pilots in this frame or a 96% turnout.

The Japanese max numbers allowed (not counting the +2 over that every squad gets) was 250. The Japanese had 229 pilots or a 92% turnout.

Japanese - Bombing
===============
A31 - 17% objective destroyed / 28 pts
A38 - 74% objective destroyed / 142 pts
A39 - 29% objective destroyed / 56 pts
A48 - 28% objective destroyed / 106 points

Total = 483

Japanese - Air to Air
===============
555 = 37 B-25C
055 = 11 F4F-4
035 = 7 P-39D
280 = 56 P-40B

-05 = 1 A6M2
-10 = 1 B5N2

Total = 910

American - Bombing
===============
1 CV = 80 (sunk – C51)
1 CV = 27 (damaged, 3x1000 lb bomb hits – C77)
1 CA = 20 (sunk – C51)

A52  = 33% objective destroyed / 124 points

Total = 251

NOTE: The ships in C76 took no bomb damage.

American - Air to Air
===============
495 = 99 A6M2
440 = 44 B5N2
040 = 4 D3A1

-05 = 1 F4F-4
-05 = 1 P-40B
Total = 965

Overall seems like a lot more air to air action in Frame 2.

Japanese = 1242 (bombing and air to air scores)
American = 1216 (bombing and air to air scores)

Basically a tie in this frame with the Japanese 26 points up in this frame

2175 = Frame 1 & 2 Japanese Totals
2161 = Frame 1 & 2 U.S. totals

Overall the Japanese are ahead by 14 points for Frame 1 and Frame 2. Against basically a tie.
