 Wish I had recorded it.I landed dead stick at a GV base in a wing and a half jug.Hit the fenced area and flipped over the fence and onto the lid.It was listed as a good landing. :aok

My best landing was in a beat up K4. I ended up landing upside down in the VH.

Well i sure wish you guys flew as bad as you landed, I wouldn't mind fighting you then...LOL   :confused:

As near as I can tell you must be the only one not to shoot me tonite.  It was ugly :)

don't care bout any of the others........this just gave me one helluva laugh after a day from hell on hold with friggin verizon, and the credit card vendors.

My kamikaze attempt thwarted by a particularly rugged nose zeke. (It was sitting stable in that position)

...maybe the guy I tried to BnZ knows where my ailerons landed, but definitely not the same place where I landed minuts later.

Roll any aircraft off of a cv. Make sure its going in a strait line. If you let your aircraft glide down to the water directly in front of the bow of the cv it will push your aircraft for a long ways until it turns.

I was on perfect glide slope...just about to cross the ramp...then, whoosh!  Saw the CV plow bow-first into a huge trough in the high sea.  Before I could react, the stern rose about 30 feet to meet me.  Managed to get my ride down and stopped.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!   ;)

maybe...if you didnt fug around with cameras you wouldnt have to go around :p



everytime i land a real aircraft i feel a little grin of smug self satisfaction. except the one time when i nearly crashed a glider landing on a grass strip into the gliding HQ (a converted double decker bus). that time i just had smug self satisfaction that the instructor was so quick.
