I was wondering what is the range of the new SdKfz 251 on the rockets at the diffrent degrees of fire?? And how many rockets would it take to take down a building?? I havent seen any Info on this new GV regarding this.

You could bracket down the range with the .target command. There's a lbs equivalency chart on the trainers' website where the new rockets are probably listed.

Roughly 1k for the 23 degree rockets, and 2.2k for the 45 degree rockets.
If your moving of course that changes things. As does changes in elevations or shooting from unlevel ground.
From the testing I did a rocket killed building on impact 3 out of 4 times. This is assuming a direct hit, not a slightly off target hit.
(Blast damage)
You can bring vehicle supplys with you, that will let your reload your rockets 4 times. :)
The 23 degree rockets "Can" leave you in ack range at some locations before your hitting buildings.
So be careful.

thanks Ghosth maybe we can hook up in the TA and you can help me get my ranging down <S> :salute

So is there anyway to know you are 2.2K away or is it just all trial and error? Thanks.

Well if you had several of them, and perhaps a tank he could cruise up to corner of a town say and give you a distance.
If your on your own, well yes then its pretty much guesswork.

Notice all the used rocket crates on the right. They must've spawned with vehicle supplies. :)

rgr, thanks Ghost. Im a little surprised this new GV hasnt turned up much yet. But the map Ive been fighting in doesnt lend very well to GV OPs.

That is cool, Ranger, thanks for the link.

Didn't Pyro say it was about 1k range? And he also stated that it took something like 7 seconds from firing to landing, and it takes 8.5 seconds on average for a plane to spawn and start to move. lol. I think he was planning something
