Here is a free "sandbox" utility for anyone interested. Personally I think that I'd recommend Acronis 11 if you dont have a good digital image backup utility. The advantage with a program like Acronis is that you can restore even a single document or your entire OS if needed in about 20 minutes with everything "authenticated" already...no need to reinstall any programs at all.

Good tip, Humble. I always use my browser sandboxed. This utility is really worth using to protect your computer.
I've learned to limit my use of sandboxie to just the browser though, because I get confused - if you know what I mean.

It works surprisingly well when I tested it, hmm, about one and a half years ago.
None of the drive-by downloads I tried at the time were able to get at the host system, and you couldn't download anything to the host system either.
I'd rather set up a free virtual appliance running Linux with Firefox in it, however, for setting up a truly bulletproof browsing sandbox, but sandboxie isn't bad.
