Hey in the TA there is a crosshair were your bombs will drop. I want that gone so i can practice more realisticly. How do i do that? :cry
-
Practice in the Duelling Arena or Offline.
-
they dont have air spawn points.
and I get lonely... :cry
-
Sure they do, just load the AHTA terrain, then use the airstarts from any field in the bombing range.
As for lonely, as a bomber pilot, better get used to it.
-
i fly in formations, me no like lonely. :frown:
THanks

more than right, uber right, unless you have a gunner, but seems like noone joins any more, so you are pretty much lonely :cry
-
you can try and make it with a squad mate and comunicate with each other that what i do
-
Im in 100th Bomb Group [H]. We fly formations with precisions attack only with b17s. :aok
-
i cant understand why anyone WOULDNT want that cross hair. I cant hit anything w'out it
-
because they want to get better and practicing with that is only a crutch as you cant use it in ma.
sure its helpful to start with but continuing to use it will only hurt your growth as a player.
its most useful for divebombing IMHO you can see where your bombs will fall due to your angle/speed and also note where the crosshair is in your gunsight. this is where the target should be with these same condidtions when you do it without the precision sight.
turn it on go and do a dive bombing run, note position of sight and crosshair. try to repeat those condidtions without the sight. great way to learn.

The green crosshair is where the bomb will hit. The bomb-sight crosshair is where you have calibrated. The best way to improve is to continue practicing in the TA until the two are in the same place every time. If they're not lining up with each other, you're not improving.

Thanks guys. :aok

Is there any way to turn the green cross-hair on for practicing offline?
-
I think it's in Arena settings under environment, called flightmodeflags.
