Title: Lead computing gunsite
Post by: badhorse on March 26, 2008, 06:46:36 AM
My wish is that the lead computing gunsite be color coded to match the gun selection.  When setting convergence on say a Spit, you have two types of weapons. Guns and cannons.   Setting convergence you tell the difference between the two by the color.  But if you turn on the lead computing gunsite you just get two green crosses.  It would be helpful if the crosses were the same color as the weapons they were for.
This would help those airplanes that have 3 or 4 guns of the same caliber as well.

I didn't even know that there was a lead computing gunsight, how do you pull that up.

It's a dot command in the main arena.  You didn't REALLY think all those guys were shooting you down by eye, did you?

[really it's an arena setting; you can use it off-line if you like, but it's not available in any of the main arenas]

you actually can put a lead sight on friendly planes in the TA, just hit ctrl+tab to select friendly lock enabled then hit tab to bring up the hairs
