Title: Offline mission editor
Post by: kotrenin on March 26, 2008, 03:36:55 PM
Suds,  very nice, very detailed, very time consuming.  Thanks, I'm reading the help section now.  I see it is also a glimpse into CT.

Thanks again,
Kotrenin

BIG thank you Suds and the rest of HTC as well.
 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

The editor is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I glad that bombers will now behave like their supposed to. But, I tell 'ya the AI is one heck of a B-26 pilot, man that was fun. Lot's to read and work with.

Just one question, should we post bugs and idea requests in this forum?

Thanks again for the editor

I wonder if the HTC crew was sick of watching us fumble our way through the "Values" page, plugging in numbers until something worked or we got stuck. :D

Nah, they probably thought it was funny  :P

Have you had any luck with the editor yet?  I'm struggling through the creation of a furball type mission  :D

Man, I'm just trying to get one to take off. Took me a hour to realize i needed to set spawn point. Now I keep crashing while I "run."

Looking at the help pages I can see a lot of things we missed. I hope that the instability was related to our clumsy hacks. I've been cleaning up my missions and they seem to be working better.

You can:

Hold "SHIFT", then RIGHT click and hold, then move mouse backwards and forwards.

Also once zoomed in you can move the map by holding the control key and the right mouse button. Makes it handy, shift to zoom, ctrl to move.

thanks HTC this has been a great time killer at work where I spend a great deal of time watching the braincell killer (TV) for countless hours.

This has been awesome.
