We had 62 on Saturday! :)

I'm heading out sailing for my team this weekend. The water's supposed to be 45 degrees. I'm excited.
-
Yesterday and today we got alot of snow too. Yesterday there was strong winds as well. Felt like a real winter, albeit all the snow is about to go away again. This winter the snow hasn't stayed for even a single week. That makes quite a snowless winter over here, which is rather unusual.
-
Wow, Ripsnort... Do you ever miss the opportunity to show or describe how much money you spent on your property? Admit it, the shot of your hot tub wasn't exactly placed there because how well it illustrated the snow cover.
BTW, mother nature is wrong this time. According to the Earth's tilt in relation to its position in orbit around the sun, it's been spring for a couple days now.
Carry on.

No snow down here, just cold cold COLD rain, and a little bit of slushy rain. Brrrr
-
Total snowfall was about 6" at our house. I am currently the only one in my cubicle at work this morning. Everyone else didn't come in. Wimps!

It always feels good to "brave" the not-that-bad road conditions when the rest of the pansies around here are too scared to try . . . until you get hit by some idiot driving stupid. That's right, Mister Northwesterner, 4x4s don't stop any better on ice and spinning tires aren't more likely to make you move forward if they spin faster.
-
ha ha ha,
My kids were in the pool yesturday. Current water temp is 71 degrees.
-
Heh, talk to us come August.
-
GREAT photos, Rip.
Seeing those individual snowflakes...awesome :aok

I drove the wife's Mustang today. She took the 4x4 to the carpool area to ride in with friends. Besides, today is free Quizno's sandwich day at work so it was worth risking my life, AND, I get MORE sammichs since so many didn't show up today! :D
Thanks Rox, flash does some weird stuff to the close flakes though :(

We were in water last night, water temp was 104 degrees, with snow falling on our heads. :D It felt like this >>>

There was snow falling on the commute this morning, but nothing was sticking. Ski season is rumored to be going through April into May this year (with, of course, the obligatory year around skiing on the glacier at Timberline). The snow pack is doing very well. I'm hoping this summer isn't a wet one, but get the feeling it will be.
-
BTW... not driving in snow where people aren't "used" to it is something I firmly believe in. It has nothing to do with your driving, but everything to do with everyone else on the road. I don't park my car on the street when it's snowing for the same reasons.
-
Nice party spread you have there Rip :aok

It's 82 deg here and rising! This is the hottest March 27 2008 on record! I'm with Moray, the data definately shows warming trend. Yesterday it was only 80. See? That's called SCIENCE, you buffoons. Data. Warm yesterday, warmer today. QED.

We got a foot and a half snow in two days. First real snow of the whole winter.. go figga.

WOW...I'd SWEAR that was a photo of the YMCA pool here in Hot Springs, AR a month ago...I recognise a few of them!

We have a small blizzard going on right now. This frickin winter-spring is pissing me off. I'm going to let mother nature take care of the driveway this time, however long that takes.
