Title: Sound issues
Post by: Mobius_1 on March 27, 2008, 03:29:32 PM
Hey guys, My speakers are crackling and I'm not sure why.  I don't know if it's in game or not.  I've checked all the connections and such.  It just started happening out of the blue the other day.  I have a logitech z5300.  I did notice that the control unit pulled out the pins from the sub when I disconnected it.  I put them back in.  I'm not sure if that would be the cause or not.  Thanks in advance

Cable PULLER??????

Just kidding, does sound like a loose connection and loose pins definitely doesn't sound good.  Occasionaly, (almost everytime  :lol) I forget I have my headset on and attempt to walk away from my computer BWOUYANNNGUH  (whiplash).  So, I am on my 3rd headset.  Started hearing that crackling sound and noticed that jiggling the wires to headset cured it temporarily.  If you know where you can test a new cable before buying one to see if that does the trick I would start there.
