I like this judge. He is doing these criminals a huge favor and giving them a chance to lead good lives.

3 Illegals get caught planning a bank robbery, and their punishment is to learn english and get a job?  diddly that.

The ruling is they "can remain on parole if they learn to read and write English, earn their GEDs and get full-time jobs" otherwise they go to jail.

That's better than to see them end up joining gangs in jail just so that they can fit in.

What a joke, well at least they will learn to speak english, that way... next time they commit a crime, the poor person being robbed will know what they want :rofl

Here's an idea.  Kick them out of the diddlying country and charge Mexico for the gas money.
