I was wondering if anyone using TrackIR v.30 or v.34 Beta with XP SP2 ever had the following problem.....
seems that the TrackIR driver starts up OK but sometimes only will get a Status: Tracking for a few seconds or a few minutes then it cuts out and I get Status: No Data. Sometimes it will even work for a few hours....but usually if it works for that long it'll stay operational for the entire mission. I am using BootCamp on my Mac to run AH2, etc, but I doubt that is a factor as I know a few other guys with this config.
any info would be greatly appreciated!

That happens to me when the sensor cannot pick up the reflectors. Perhaps that is the case for you as well? If there is bright sunlight, or you are wearing a reflective shirt it might have trouble.

the above or maybe USB voltage issue. a powered hub would fix it then.

I have found that on occasion you need to unplug the TIR, and then plug it back in when it does this...
