Title: AAR Strike Package A31

347th launched B5N2s with JG11 and 31st Fighter Group in A6M2 as escort.
347th was able to destroy 5 to 6 hangers and because of the outstanding
escort by JG11 and the 31st Fighter Group we where not attacked until after
we dropped and where getting out of Dodge

Yeah... our P40s were east of 31 when the first call of Zeros came.  Headwind didn't exactly help us get back too soon but the Jokers had cleared most of the A6M2s out that left the B5Ns to us :)  As you said, you were already diving by the time we got there.  Hangers can be rebuilt in a few weeks... takes longer to make pilots.  Did we miss any of you??  :D
