Does anyone have a link to the mapmaker program?

I've lost my copy and don't see it anywhere when searching google..

The only site hosting these as far as I know is Middog/mrmidi's site (http://www.mrmidi.net/dloads/AH/index.php).

Soda, assuming you're talking about Ogre's Mapmaker for DEM files I know it's no consolation but I have it, it's just a matter of finding it since I stopped using it ages ago.

Good news, bad news...

Good news.... I found the CD labeled Mapmaker.

Bad news.... It was a CD-RW and was written over.

All is not lost, there should be a second copy on a disk labeled "AH-Terrains Web Backup". I just need to find that and I know it wasn't an RW.

You also might try to contact FalconSS, I know he had a copy a while back.

Even with the program I'm not having any luck finding 'free' download sites for DEM files.

I looked at the site has lots of interesting downloads but didn't see a link for mapmaker

Sorry about that, he's taken it down. I wonder if the author, Ogre, objected.

Not sure why it was not in the Downloads directory, but if the mapmaker I have is the
same one you are looking for I just moved it in there.
Should be the last file on page 1 od the Terrain Building Tools page.
