I lost my uncle in vietnam, May 12th 1968(mother's day).

My dad's old child hood friend's father was killed in the seals and was awarded the Medal of honor. He carried about 10 wounded to a chopper after being wounded numerous times, he died on the scene and they had to leave him behind, they never found him. <S> to all who have served.

And what were your last words to him?

 he called home day before his first mission. My turn at phone I say " Kill a gook for me". he only says put mom on. it eats at  me for 40 plus years. i was 8 years old. And to this day i'm careful of what I say you never know if its the last thing you get to say
