That was a Swiss Avro. Those trailing link undercarriages are tough. I know a former Aer Lingus pilot who flew those Bae146/Avros in the London City Airport quite a lot. He told me of how he hit so hard once that not only did the overhead baggage lockers open but the oxygen masks deployed. :huh LCY can be a trickly airport to land at.

First as a passenger I would have been thankful not to die. Second I would have pulled someone out of the cockpit and proceeded to give that person a good old fashioned behind the woodshed prettythang whipping.

Landing like that destroyed the nose gear of a DC-10 at Louisville Intl when I worked there.  Plane hit so hard, the actual wheel came off and started a fire.

Tires didn't blow. Wings stayed on. No fire. No smoke. Failed SAPP checkride.

Thats your standard cessna crosswind landing ....lol

I once made a landing so hard i thiught i had broke my back. But it's funny to see a large airplane getting blown around like that. They should have aborted that landing, looks like it exceeded the crosswind component for that aircraft.

Anyway somebodies career could be over, bet it was the captain landing.....

Guess he doesn't believe in transitioning to the wing low method on short final does he?

The pilot is an a n00b.  Those passengers were probably able to walk off the plane under their own power and didn't yak.  Definitely does not meet with S.A.P.P proper landing procedures.
