This is bad for me but darn it i just like to munch on it while playing! I don't eat this to much maybe once or twice in a year but i love to go to FSO or squad night with one of these freshly cooked and sitting there just waiting to be eaten. :D
2 full sized sandwiches on texas toast preferrably, toasted. Inside these, as i call them heart attack monsters are. 2 eggs cooked but yolks a tad runny but if not they are still good, slice of cheese, american usually but once in awhile i use pepper jack or jalepeno, and mayonaise. :O Once in awhile i might try bacon/sausage, or even some ham/canadian bacon on it. Sure i know it's bad for me, but it's just to tasty for me to resist. :D

Cream of Fennel Soup
Baby Green Salad with Artichoke Vinaigrette
Warm Dinner Rolls,
Rondelle of Salmon with Juniper Berry Sauce with Gratin Dauphinois,
and then Chocolate Grand Marnier Torte with Orange Caramel Sauce.
and an appropriate wine.

I once had corn on the cob, while flying in the MA.
Usually just have a bottle of Shiner Bock, or Coke sitting by.
I think some people have even been so smart to put a mini fridge by their computer....
Excellent idea.
:D

Beer. In particular, Arrogant Bastard (Stone Brewery Co.). Beer should be its own food group. :salute

I never get tired of reading about food. :D Some of the recipes the others put up i've tried and some i liked and some i didn't. This is more about what you know is bad for you but you just can't resist eating while playing. Beer/alcohol is not considered a food in this thread, though i also like a cold one with my sandwiches. ;) One of my ex's used to play mario brothers and would go through a 1lb. bag of M/M's while playing. :O

You're kidding, right? I mean, I'm even a real eskimo & don't eat that.
-
Water...lots of water and wheat thins. If I do think about it early enough I may add a few slices of cheddar to the plate with the wheat thins.

Of course I'm kidding, TXM ;)

Damn I thought we were only suppose to get drunk while playing. I wonder if HT can make that a requirement? Seriously though Grilled ham and cheese with pringles crushd on top of them.

I`m sort of fond of Grizzly bear steaks while I`m flying. Medium well , with a slice of pickled sabertooth toe as a side.
If I`m really hungry I will follow this up with a frosty nuclear waste shake.

I've got that sorted, it houses more than enough beer and vodka to make a long mission entertaining. Scotch and other spirits are housed on the book shelf. I'm fairly well armed when it comes to loading up for a good flight.
As for actual food.. I try to stick things I can eat with one hand and not get too messy with.
Soups have been good lately (Start of a very beautiful and cold Autumn in Melbourne).
I dare say that one of my favourites has to be a special pizza I get made by the Italian guys next door to my work. It's some sort of beef/bbq sauce/pineapple/ham and onion thing. Definitely not a regular item on the menu but a favourite for sure.
