Watergate-Era Judiciary Chief of Staff: Hillary Clinton Fired For Lies, Unethical Behavior
The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.
Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.
Why?
“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”
…..Zeifman said she was one of several individuals – including Marshall, special counsel John Doar and senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – who engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation.
….. they feared putting Watergate break-in mastermind E. Howard Hunt on the stand to be cross-examined by counsel to the president. Hunt, …., had the goods on nefarious activities in the Kennedy Administration that would have made Watergate look like a day at the beach – including Kennedy’s purported complicity in the attempted assassination of Fidel Castro.
The actions of Hillary and her cohorts went directly against the judgment of top Democrats, up to and including then-House Majority Leader Tip O’Neill, that Nixon clearly had the right to counsel. Zeifman says that Hillary, along with Marshall, Nussbaum and Doar, was determined to gain enough votes on the Judiciary Committee to change House rules and deny counsel to Nixon. And in order to pull this off, Zeifman says Hillary wrote a fraudulent legal brief, and confiscated public documents to hide her deception.
The brief involved precedent for representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding. When Hillary endeavored to write a legal brief arguing there is no right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding, Zeifman says, he told Hillary about the case of Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas, who faced an impeachment attempt in 1970.
“Hillary then removed all the Douglas files to the offices where she was located, which at that time was secured and inaccessible to the public,” Zeifman said. Hillary then proceeded to write a legal brief arguing there was no precedent for the right to representation by counsel during an impeachment proceeding – as if the Douglas case had never occurred.
The brief was so fraudulent and ridiculous, Zeifman believes Hillary would have been disbarred if she had submitted it to a judge.

So we have the racists supporting Hussein Obama, and the pathological socialist. Two great choices for the change Washington needs. :aok

Im just waiting for all the details on whitewater to come out.And one day they will.Lotta people involved in that died in odd ways. One was on the way to the Times with files that would have been seriously devistating to the klintons and decided on the way there to pull over and shoot himself in the head.Files were gone.

Yes, because obviously if JBA was posting something of this nature about Hillary Clinton, he HAS to be hitting the kool-aid... as there's nothing in her past to indicate ANYTHING like this could be possible.

...or because MT knows that "Pathological Liar" is listed on the resume of everyone currently running for POTUS or their party's nomination... or anyone who also has the word "Politician" on their resume. And it could also be the drool and froth coming out of JBA's mouth, but to be fair that could just be rabies.

I wonder if Midnight Cowboy has ever used the word Koolaid on an occasion where relevant dirt was mentioned in regards to a non-democrat.
I think it's pretty much involuntary at this point. Here's the process:
1.) Read the thread title.
2.) Consult a pre-composed master list of possible responses (about 70% of which contain references to Koolaid or the war).
3.) Engage a random number generator to make a selection.
4.) Post the selection.
5.) Repeat as many times as dictated by the circumstances.

Well let me try to redeem myself...
You really believe that a 27 yr. old AIDE had the audacity to steal the entire case precident for an impeachment of a supreme court justice and hide it in her "secure office"?
1. Aides don't get freaking "secure offices" that their bosses can't access.
2. The case she supposedly hid was only 4 years old and "hiding it" is akin to hiding the fact that the Lincoln Memorial has a statue of Lincoln in it.
3. Writing a brief that disagrees with the stance of your opponent is called "work" by most attorneys. It is kinda funny to call it deceptive.

“She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution
Well at least she has stayed consistent and not changed.

It's wasn't her office.

How could a 27-year-old House staff member do all that? She couldn’t do it by herself, but Zeifman said she was one of several individuals – including Marshall, special counsel John Doar and senior associate special counsel (and future Clinton White House Counsel) Bernard Nussbaum – who engaged in a seemingly implausible scheme to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation.

but writing a dishonest brief is called Lying
--------------------------------------
Zeifman says he was urged by top committee members to keep a diary of everything that was happening. He did so, and still has the diary if anyone wants to check the veracity of his story. Certainly, he could not have known in 1974 that diary entries about a young lawyer named Hillary Rodham would be of interest to anyone 34 years later.

I'm choosing to ignore your petty attempts at a personal attack just to keep you from looking stupid. I do wonder however, how pointing out my liberal and admittedly left stance negates the facts in question? I know the answer of course, it doesn't.
-
Why would someone actually act as if they are wearing blinders to Hillary's poor behavior when it has some many times been so well documented?
How many women have had so many books written about them telling how nasty a person is? Not many can match Hillary on that.
Why does Dick Morris, someone who was very close to Bill Clinton have so many very negative things to say about Hillary? (because he knows her well enough to have an informed opinion I would suppose)
Time for the blinders to come off, the documented reality to sink in.

Idiotic drivel.
PLease go look up any of the threads about Hillary's Sniper story. Point out where I defended it. Now by "ignore" I meant I was quoting the post you made that wasn't childish. Sorry I didn't make that clear.
-
Wow, idiotic... So you never rush to her defense when she doesn't deserve it?
I read the same article you did. Instead of saying 'wow, if this is true, she's got a real bad streak in her', or something to that effect, your response was:
"Koolaid strong this morning?"
Followed by
"Disagreeing was her job. She was just doing her job"
My leanings are generally republican--when it comes to fiscal questions, anyway. I've called Bush a moron more times than I'd like to remember. His approach to religion, his approach to abortion, the way his administration have dealt with constitutional questions, his approach to selling the war to the American people, hell, even his treatment of economic woes....
Liberals pride themselves on being enlightened, and yet you take the same blind eye to shortcomings in your own beliefs and the representatives of those beliefs.
What gives

Hillary will be seen as the person who stole the nomination from the black candidate if she wins the nomination. That can't be good for her chances to beat McCain.

Hillbillary -100K on cattle futures, I learned from reading NYT, yet NYT had not started printing Futures reports yet.
Hillbillary -I ducked and covered as mortars went off and sniper fire past my head, video never happened.
Hillbillary, She claimed that her mother named her Hillary and with two "i's" after Sir Edmund Hillary the climber. Only problem- he didn't make news climbing anything until 5 years AFTER Clinton was born.
Hilbilllary was at a race-relations conference in Boston with some teenagers, and she claims that she was on the soccer team, and a player from the opposing team told her that she hated her kind, and Hillary said- 'you don't even know me,' to which the girl replied- 'I don't have to know you to know I hate you.' An attempt to try to make the kids believe she knew exactly where they were coming from, and from personal experience at that! Too bad this is almost surely a lie, since there were no girl's soccer teams at her high school in the 1960's when this supposed event took place.
Hillbillary -claimed that her daughter Chelsea was in danger on September 11, claiming that her daughter went for a jog down to the towers themselves, and when the planes hit, she saw the buildings right there and was nearly in peril. Too bad again, since Chelsea totally debunked her mother's phony story in a magazine article. She was realy on the other side of the city, and was woken up with a phone call telling her to watch the news- and she never got anywhere near the towers, instead she was staring shocked at the tv screen most of the day.
But your right MT I'm the Kool-Aid drink for think she's a liar, she has been and always will be. It's to bad she'll sell out the black community to get what she wants. She has 80% of the black community drink kool-aid, because they keep voting for her.

JBA it doesn't matter if you like her or not- the real question is, can Hillary count on your vote this November?

I'm kinda worried that either Jerry Zeifman or Dan Calabrese wont be alive much longer. One gentleman had first hand knowledge of billery's character and the other gentleman informed the masses. Seems like anybody who has any kind of legit dirt on the Klintons do not seem to live very long fruitfull lives after they attempt to make the information known.

They will most certainly have a file opened up on them.

Makes one wonder about all those FBI files the Clinton White House "borrowed"....perhaps trying to dig up dirt to use on rivals.

wow, I knew she sold secrets to the Chinese but I didnt know this. Man, either me or the supporters need to stick their head in a bucket of water. Good Lord, WAKE UP! But, nothing I can really do about it. Just post my opposition of her on here. :salute

None of it matters, really. as I've said before, neither Osamabama or Hillbillary are electible for POTUS.
