I wanted to apollogize right now for colliding with Cile1...yes...I'm still new but should have taken a better angle. Secondly, I wanted to give a shout out to Bruv119. Thanks for the target practice..me being the target. Every fight brings me closer to being better.  :rock Rock on dude!!

ChemDawg,

A collision is something that happens from time to time. It's annoying for both, but acceptable.

You should only apologise if you intentionally ram someone in a fighter with your C47 to protect the paratroops dropped from beeing shot down.

That, young man, is a very low thing to do, a gamey attitude and something to be really ashamed.

Other than this, it's an accident, nothing to apologise for.

Good luck and have fun,

<Salute>

No problem Chemdawg.

I rarely play AvA but the last couple of times ive been in there, some good fights.  Its a shame your friends didnt stay around for that long but you did.  Thats the only way your going to learn and get better.  Taking a beating in the right frame of mind is much better than not taking it all.   :salute

Actually I had a wing taken off twice yesterday by an axis ace pilot dog.  Both times he kept flyin as if nothing had happened.  New tactic maybe?

Sometimes that just happens. It's not that the guy is a ace pilot dog as much as he's just trying to get in close and make his shot count. It could be he's down to just a few cannon rounds and he's getting as close as possible so as not to miss.

I know when I'm flying a Spit or Hurri Mk1, I try and fill my windscreen with the enemy plane before I fire to do as much damage as possible. I end up with collisions out the yang. With the 50 cals on a P-47 I can stand off furthur and shoot. I doubt anyone is purposely colliding because the out come is a crap shoot. You'll see more people get in close in the AVA and usually less long shots, except for a couple of the guys that are really good shots.

I think it's very unlikely that someone has the ability to intentionally ram someone at will.  Most people find it challenging enough trying to get guns on someone let alone ramming.

Latency has a big part of ramming issues.  I'm on dialup so my latency is higher than broadband users.  Often on my screen a guy rams me, but on his screen he moved out of the way in time, and it ended up being that I rammed him.

Very frustrating.

I wish you'd go find more challenging targets thrilla. I got the  impression yesterday you have me completely figured out. ;)

<S> shifty.  I had the best time in AH last night since i came back to AH in september.  I don't think i landed a single sortie without leaking something and missing a few parts.  I was a on a bit of a roll last night, everything seemed to be going well for a change- i think i may be getting my aim back.  I had such a great time i even considered posting a few films to show people could see what a great furball they can find in the AvA.

landing?? you're supposed to land?? we consider it a one way trip. you only land if you have 5 kills or more. points dont count in AVA.
