no i mean so high of a cost that you would rarely ever see them in the arena. But what about cluster bombs? or incindeary bombs to burn the forests where sometimes gv's hide, they wouldn't hurt the gv's most likely, but it will expose them.

Cluster bombs :rofl I think you mean napalm bombs.
-
You should be able to kill a Tiger with a 100 lb bomb in close proximity. Model "concussion". We don't need nukes or NON-WWII "cluster bombs".

Cluster bombs were used in World War II. The Soviets, Germans, Italians and the U.S. all had and used them during the war.
The Italians had the AR-4 Thermos Bomb (Anti-Personnel (AP) Bomb Manzolini), which was also one of the first scatterable mine-laying systems used in combat. It was scattered by aircraft and used extensively in North Africa.
The Germans had the SD-2B Schmetterling (Butterfly) scatterable mine. It was used with great effect against the Poles in 1939. The Germans also developed a cluster-bomb version of the SD-2 that had airburst or impact fuzing. The aircraft dropped bomb version could carry 24 Thermos bombs as submunition. The Butterfly could be carried as submunition in the following cluster-bomb containers: AB 23 (23 SD-2s), the AB 250-3 (108 SD-2s), the Mk 500 (6 SD-2s), and the AB 24t (24 SD-2s). It was used in Poland, North Africa, Italy, England and Russia.
The US copied the Butterfly and called it the M-83 and was used against the Germans and later on in Korea and Vietnam.. Couldn't find anything if it was used against the Japanese.
The Soviets had one too, called the "Molotov Bread Basket" (RRAB-3 droppable bomb dispensers) that was used against Finnish civilian centers.

Would be cool if it was perked ordnance.

1) Define "High Cost". Many of the guys in game have an unbelievable amount of perk points to spend on n00ks if they were available.
2) By saying "More period-realistic bombs" the period would be 1939 to 1945. So, the most realistic bombs would be the ones that we currently use. Granted, we could get some incendiaries and para-frags, but n00ks represent a very, very small fractional percentage of the total ordinance dropped in WWII.
3) And this is the important one concerning n00ks in the game, NO!

nuclear bombs............would be awesome!

Cluster bombs/antipersonel bombs would be all but useless. They were certainly used, though. Especially by the Germans. To great affect, infact, against the Russian positions at the start of Barbarrossa. 100 of the little 1.2lb devices would be strapped to the bottom of an Emil and they'd carpet bomb headquarters and such.

I mean cluster bombs some are HE, and some are incindiary.

i mean like a very high point value but not too high so only record point holders could get it. and they could set a limit of 1 or 2 nukes per week.

they would work on cities and if you need to say hit a group of gv's or destroy a city/factory you just use the cluster bombs.
All the special bombs should cost perk points.

I think you missed something. They only weigh 1.2 lbs- 100lbs bombs themselves are nearly useless. The only thing an SD-2 bomb was able to destroy was wooden huts, unarmored vehicles, and people. You couldn't destroy a city or a tank with them.

search for cluster bombs on wikipedia, there are anti-tank cluster bombs, and the incindiary bombs could destroy cities/factories

Would be effective in helping destroy towns, thin skinned GVs, AAA emplacements, taking out fleet AAA fleet guns.
As a perked ordnance package, why not?

I think I lost iq points after reading this.

Been saying this for a while.... <shakes head>
I guess building bombs and watching them blow up for a living doesn't count towards this area....

It would be like the level in CoD4 where you get caught in the nuke blast and die a slow gruesome death as you see look around and see the world around in you flames and then everything blacks out and AH uninstalls itself from your system. GAME OVER.
