So a P-47 D25 is worth twice a Fw-190D9?

Actually, forget the FW-190.  It's almost twice a P-51D!  We'll never see the Jug in the game!
*Has flashback to WWIIOL and their RDP system*

I understand the need to balance sides but does the wealth of the nation come into play at all. We all know that Germany over extended themselves by attacking Russia but how would it have turned out if they didn't. Would the assets of the Allied nations still have ground them into the dirt regardless of the cost?

I love that if you take a 109G-6 and add MW50 boost to make a G-14, it costs 30% more.

I believe players will be able to reup planes to their heart's content even augering them. But the cost at the end of the week may be horrendous. ;)

After THIS war, we'll be running a couple of weeks of OLD AVA.  Don't worry, the WAR's will be mixed in with our regular schedule line-up this spring. :aok

Sorry bout missing the Ju-87.  I had it in there but I mucked up the list when I was editing the costs.  I'll add it back shortly. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

Uhm, so upping one formation of B24's (3 planes) cost $518547, equals 43% of the budget to spend?

If one bomber formation gets shot down, you're unable to win?

If they want the B24 they pay a one time fee. Not the price each time one gets shot down.+

I believe that the prices are per deployment.  So if the allies want the SpitV at 5 bases it's 5 x $49,000 or a total of $245,000.  At least that's the way I understood it.

The price represents a squadron cost PER field.  Meaning, if you spent the $200k+ on a B-24, you get to pick ONE field to deploy it, or in this case, a squadron of B-24 bombers to deploy.

If HTC had a way of counting #'s and limiting their deployment depending on use and loss, I'd give each commander $10 Million and tell them to spend wisely. :)

So in this case, if they wanted B-24's only, they get SIX fields to pick and that's it for their choices.

Fork,
I am under the assumption that there is no base taking, and that we need supply vehicles only to resupply bases and strats?? is that correct?

No it's only paid for for deployment, you can crash and augre as many as you want at no extra cost.

Sounds like monopoly to me. Fighters should be the same on both sides as well as bombers.  Blowing up a VH should take the capacity of the VH with it.  Just dumb idea in my opinion. :P

The "costs represents squadrons placed at bases" concept is not sinking in.

well if you have a squadron deployed at a VH/FH/BH and it gets whacked then that field loses access to the squadron.  So the other bases, if any, will have to perform fill in duty until rebuild 5 minutes later.  What's not to like?

Rebuild'll take a lot more than 5. Just sayin'.
