Title: possible CV or B24 bug
Post by: whels on April 08, 2008, 04:23:25 PM: 2 times today ive bombed a CV in b24s and discoed right after bombs hit CV.

1st time before patch, 250lb bombs, salvoed 11, CV didnt sink, discoed after bombs hit.

2nd time, after patch. 1klb bombs. salvoed 3, hit CV with all 9 eggs, didnt sink, discoed
after eggs hit.

defualt skins on B24, 1280 x 1024 res 512 texture.

neg, only sounds i have custom are a few fighter engines, fighter guns, and couple GV
sounds. rest are stock. just reinstalled everything last week also.

Post by: lyric1 on April 09, 2008, 12:44:34 AM: I have had this happen in the past too. I just assumed it was a bad connection on my end. It happens just as bombs are about to hit always on ROOK cv's as well? :confused:.

came back in, and used quad 40mm and no disco, even with sinking several
of the ships.

What I mean is, when u hit the CV with your bombs, the damage counts floods the connection all at once. Sometimes it can be too large for your connection and cause the disco. Happened to me a few times till I got a new ISP, lol.

same connection ivehad for last 6 years. Cable. just start last week.
