The jet was something I've never seen before and I live very close to Hobby Airport.
It's layout was t-tail with the engines mounted aft on the fuselage, port and starboard. The wings were low mounted and had an extreme amount of sweep back as did the elevators mounted high on the tail. The nose was extremely pointed and the overall affect of the wings, tail, and pointy nose gave the impression of very high speed. Anyone know what it could have been?

Hmmm...a sausage-based busniess jet. I think it must have been owned by Meatwad.

Congratulation, you just described 90% of business jets out there. :devil
My favorite is the Citation X

That's it!
I've just never seen one with that kind of sweep-back both on the wings and the elevators.
Thanks Frenchy!

Probably either a Cessna Citation X, or a Gulfstream G-IV or G-V. Possibly a Dessault Falcon 20.

Speed
The Cessna Citation X is the fastest civilian aircraft currently being flown,[citation needed] as the supersonic Concorde and Tupolev Tu-144 are no longer in use. Rumor has it that during testing it exceeded Mach 1 briefly.
Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Poor Jack got his eye back for part of an episode and lost it again :(
Always thought that was a cool plane. That one looks a bit upgraded from this one.

May not be nice as the modern day bizz jet, but I think it would turn more heads.

Man, forgot about that one. What was the name of that show?

Tales of the GoldMonkey
Ran for a whole season on ABC.
