Meh.
Star Wars is only Epi. IV & V to me. Everything else is crap.

BLUE HARVEST!!!!!!!!!1111111!!

What Diablo said. Jar-Jar Binks (sp.) is indicative of what was wrong with the other episodes.

My boys watch the cartoons far more than the movies. I'll look forward to seeing that as well. :)

With the benifit of several years behind me I can say that episodes 1, 2, and 3 -although colorful and animated, had the visceral content of an empty cookie jar. This animated feature already looks to be better than either 1, 2, or 3.
Maybe their is a future for the force afterall. Or should I say: A future the force does have.

I have to toss VI in there, if only because of the Emperor's scenes. The Emperor in Return of the Jedi has my vote for Best Villain Evar. And the Luke vs. Vader duel IMO was the BEST duel out of all six movies. Obi-Wan vs. Vader in the original is the sentimental favorite as the first duel ever, and there's something perversely enjoyable about watching Vader toy with Luke like a cat with a mouse in ESB. But for my money, the duel in RotJ was the best, not just from an action standpoint, but from the drama. Luke and Vader aren't just duelling physically, but the running mental/emotional battle between father and son from start to finish.
If only they hadn't Camped him up in Episode III, that MIGHT have redeemed RotS.

I dunno, the duel in III was pretty good from an action standpoint and Macgregor did an awesome job as Obi Wan. Anakin got a little more watchable after he turned.
Too bad they weren't able to connect Anakin and Vader better. Vader should have never let out that girly "nooooo!". He should have just wrecked the room, quietly said no, and then go cold.
Aww, well, the kid in me still like them all.

All three prequel duels were all flash and no substance, and that made the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin in Episode III such a major let-down. It was just more of Nick Gilliard's emotionless twirly sabre dance. The drama and emotion of the Original Trilogy duels was wholly absent.
I'll agree that Christiansen was most watchable after he turned, but that's still not saying much (his ONE good scene in Episodes II and III was just before the duel with Obi-Wan when he's screaming accusations of Obi-Wan turning Amidala against him).

Ewoks were the beginning of the end. Sure, there are some good things about VI but every bit of IV and V were outstanding. I can't say that about any other episode, especially the first 3.
