not sure if i'm posting this in the right place or not, but i'm kind of curious. when i was able to be online more often, i was averaging maybe 1 to 3 hours a night in the arenas. my hit percentage was nly in the 3-4% range. this r\tour, so far i have approx. 7 hours in this tour, and in attack mode, i'm 7.99%, and close to the same in fighter. what i don't understand, is that i feel like i die much more often, with less kills, but i can hit my target better? this doesn't make sense to me? now beofre i get flamed for this question, i don't care bout score....but i DO care that i actually hit what i'm aiming at......but i'd think that with the higher hit percent, i should be killing more too?
ok..that's my morning thought for here//////now back to our regularly scheduled work :D

Such things can happen.
Hitting your target is only part of aerial combat. One pilot might me a master shot with an uncanny aim, but lacking in overall SA (getting picked) or ACM skills, so he may have a hard time to apply his shooting skills.
Also your plane selection and fighting style has a big influence on hit% numbers. If you hunt bombers, your hit% goes up even when you are dying most of the time. If you take long range snapshots on crossing targets in cannon planes like Typhoon, you may very easily have a comparatively low hit% even when killing your victim each time.

Another thing to note about % in attack mode is hits on ground objects count towards your percentage so strafing building bumps it up substantially.
