I have officially found my new fitness hero. This man is 100% bad-arse! :rock
He is running his first marathon at 101 years old... so what if he enjoys a cig and pint or two?
Go Buster Martin, Go!

Genetics will kill you before tobacco kills you. Alot of cancers are genetic. My mother is a perfect example of this. Good genes, no cancer ever in our family...she has smoked cigs for 64 years (she started at age 11 !) She recently got a clean bill of health from her doc. :O
Grandparents (from both sides of the family) lived well into their 90's. I had a great uncle that died in 1964 at age 101.

Most people that I knew who died from lung cancer did so because they worked in a shipyard.

Good for him.
In my boys group we have a commander that is around 64-75 years old. He still comes on expeditions with us such as canoeing and rock climbing. His view on things is its better to get out and do things instead of sitting around with a bunch of old people playing Bingo all day long.
