Just thought I would show off my pride and joy. He might try to eat everything in sight and press the power button when in 262 but he is still the coolest thing in my life. Sorry people but its time for another kid picture thread. :aok

Thanks Texasmom, Shuffler, Rox, and Mac!
Shuffler....if its in the house and below waist level I am sure he's been caught red handed at least twice. :lol
The latest new quirk is been adult food. We feed him the healthier meals we cook sometimes and he is starting to turn is nose up to the Graduates (solid baby food) stuff. I cant blame him but its just another sign he is growing up and becoming a little person. Everyday its something new to make me smile (or puke lol) as a proud daddy.

hey Strip you sound like me, a very proud father :D congratulation!!
We have a daughter, she will turn 2 years old in exsactly 1 month (born 4.17.2006)
I still remember the days she started to walk alone, man i know how you feel :)
About food, a baby needs aprox 50 retries to a new kind of food until it starts to likes it, so you have
to be very patience :)

ROX......remind me to bust one of your NOE missions for that! :t :rofl
Ghost....if it comes from mom and dads plate he wont turn it down. He has figured out where the good stuff comes from. Getting him to eat the baby food he used to like is becoming an issue. I figure he is thinking something along the lines of
"No thanks.......I'll take that over there" :rofl
What are parents for but to spoil there kids.
Responsibly of course..... :noid :D
My son was born 2-16-07 so he just turned 1 a couple of months ago. He started walking about a month ago and promtly started the controlled crash/running stage. I dont think I have rested since! :lol

2000 was almost a decade ago, but man, it sure seems just like yesterday. I definatley know how you feel. Watching my son start to play t-ball, soccer, flag football, and hockey over the last few years has been a blast. I get to be a kid again right along next to him. Congrats.

One time we were visiting friends who had just had a baby and the house was full of wonderfull ornaments scattered around at low level. We asked when they were going to move them for when the baby started to make it's own way around the room. The answer had wifey and me rolling over when we got outside " we'll just tell him, no don't touch".

You do know that your son is to cute for his/your own good, right?
The stories of what others kids got into remind me of my oldest now 21 when he was learning to walk.
He took a very great interest in where the movie went when you put it into the VCR (Yes, that long ago). After being told numerous times to not put his hand into the front of the VCR, I decided the only way he was going to learn was the hard way. So, on his next attempt I let him.

Yep, that's Jason, going for the VCR.
Once his hand was in there he discoverer that the door wouldn't let him go. Left him with his hand in the VCR for a minute or so. Was harder to keep his mother from coming to the rescue while he learned his lesson than keeping him from his original plan. After I opened the front flap on the VCR so he could remove his hand he never repeated his attempts.

He looks like a pretty awesome little kid!
