I ordered one of those in the '60's. Was a real disappointment.

I got one too. Must have been around 1970. It was made out of cardboard and had these little tubes with rubberbands that you could launch little plastic rockets and torpedos......but I enjoyed it, until I took it outside and it rained. Turned into mush lol. Somewhere there is a polaroid of me with headphones on sitting in my cardboard sub with the top back, looking like a captain :aok

I saved the $6.98 and made one out of a refridgerator box.
It only looked like a submarine if you were 6 years old, tho.
