Heres the bird. As for those streaks under the wing intakes, I have no clue what theyre from, but theyre very clear in a picture posted by motherland on the next page titled "Just thought Id be nice". That picture was my main referance for oil and under surface weathering.

Looks good mate.
I would say that your under wing crosses are too light in the centre and that your oil stains are wayyyyy over the top.
I know the photo you're talking about and I really, really think that such heavy staining was quite rare. Do take into account that the aircraft in the photo was not in German hands at the time of the photograph.
I can't think of one other photo that indicates such poor maintenance.
I've only seen one photo of a 109 showing a serious oil leak (which was forward of the oil cooler, too) like what you've got there and that was a result of a bad leak, not a lack of maintenance.
The rest of the marks under the fuselage (aft of the wings, for example) seems to be a result of mud splashing and propwash kicking up dirt on aircraft operating from forward fields in wet conditions.
It's totally up to you, of course, that's just something to think about....
-
I'd say if it was a British plane, add all of the oil that you want :lol
Luft iron, however didn't leak oil too often, if at all, from lack of maintenance.
Like Xasthur said, mud is more the norm. Especially if it was a late war bird. Bomb craters on forward airfields made for some knee-deep slop at times. This, however would dry fairly quickly and would look dusty and smeared.
In addition, if it IS a late war plane, outlines only on the bottom crosses (dwindling resources towards the end of the war, including paint).
Otherwise looks like you are making headway. Don't give up :aok The more it gets "picked at" the better you will be able to make it look.

You've gone too close to the spinner on the fuselage too.
That very first frame on the fusealge sections needs to be the same colour as the spinner, as it spins around. Take a close look at your screenies and you'll see.
Also, can you post some in-cockpit shots of the upper wing surfaces?

Is it Christmas Early this year? Im getting all these new JG53 skins. :salute
Good work bud.

JG53 has some nice birds. Ive got another G6 and an 2 E-4s waiting in the wings, all from JG53.

Alright, hows this?
Notes to ignore: Ignore panel lines on the wheel bumps. They didnt look right, so theyre gone. Same for the line on the left side over the MG bulge. Ignore darkness of the lines on the vertical stabalizer, ive already toned it down.

I think your wing rivets are far too visible.
The 109 had recessed rivets and having your rivets so opaque makes them look very pronounced.
Take a look at this link, it has photos of a restored 109 G10:
http://www.thomasgenth.de/survivors/Me109_G10_The_Air_Museum/me109_g10_the_air_museum.html (http://www.thomasgenth.de/survivors/Me109_G10_The_Air_Museum/me109_g10_the_air_museum.html)
The rivets are really hard to see, even with new cameras. I'm still trying to find an image which clearly shows anything more than a few slight rivets here and there in my book collections.
Basically, I think the rivets are overdone on the 109s in-game and I'm currently in the process of creating a rivet template for the 109s based on photos and not the default skin layout, which has rivets where there shouldn't be rivets and rivets that far too visible.
I was going through the skins in-game before and taking a look at what other people have done with the rivets and from what I got a chance to look through Fencer has come the closest to representing the rivets I've seen in photos. His rivets are not black/white pixels next to eachother but (from what I can gather) one black pixel with a blurred white one directly underneath in attempt to create that recessed look.
Whether or not that is what he is doing with his rivets that is what I am testing at the moment.
Aces High has crashed on my computer and I can't post any screenshots or look at any other skins, so this is the most help I can be at this point.

Alright, Ill tone down the opacity of the rivets and see how that looks. Any other issues?

According to my sources your upper wing crosses are too far out on the wing.
They should sit in line with the panel line closest to the outermost edge of the flaps.
Just as an example, this balkenkreuz is in the correct position according to the photograph of the aircraft in the screenshot.
A quick flick through some of my photos suggests that slightly inside of this was a standard position for the balkenkreuz. See that panel line that cuts through the outer edge of the balkenkreuz, just outboard of the flap? That's where it should line up.
Basically, your crosses are one wing panel too far out.

Alright, I lined it up with the default originally, but I will move it in. Do I need to move the underwing crosses in as well?
-
A tricky question! Too hard to explain the correct positioning, I'll take a quick photo of something that lines up with the one photo I have of underwing crosses. (Standby for it, I'll be a couple of mins)
Also, your right gear buldge still has a slightly whacky panel line going around it. If you can't get that to sit correctly around the edge of it (which would be tricky) I'd say ditch it completely and just try and go for a blurred dirt mark around it. A very slight one.
-
These are very close to what the photos I have show. They're also much clearer.

Got it. Fixing now.

That positioning seems fairly constant right through from F to K models so I think we're on the money here.

This isn't really your fault, but on the default skin the first aid kit/radio access panel is one frame to far toward the cockpit, and thus it is on your skin too.

Got it, thanks. Fortunately EVERY SINGLE DETAIL is its own layer, lol, so its an easy fix :D
On a side note, I just got a WHOLE bunch of good drawings and schematics as far as placement of all of these things, so my skins should stop sucking as much, lol.

You've improved since the last skin I saw you present on the forum, but the top wing paint is still too regular. And those spraypainted streaks under the wings are just too obviously recognizable as digital brushes.... It's like they were done in MS Paint.
Look at some of the skins by Wotan and others. Look at the way they break up the paint's homogeneity with skin relief and other artifacts.

Define "too regular" please. Do you mean its still a harsh transition? I tried bluring it, but I can blur it more if need be.
