LGM Films Proudly Presents…”The Doolittle Raiders”
This film is dedicated to those 80 men who flew in the Doolittle Raid on April 18, 1942
Because of FSO, I came to know about this Doolittle Raid event and the people in it. This film was made in less than 1 week. I wanted to have it done by today, the 66th Anniversary for the Doolittle Raid. Had I more time, I’d continue to work on it and make it better, but time is never on our side.
I want to really say Thank You to:
4440
A8Niskey
Betty
Blue
Condor00
dtis30
DUGY
HB555
Hibbie2
Strip
RDRTrash
WannaB
XSHAUNx
We would set the stage and then I’d call action, those pilots would do the rest however they wanted to. They made this film. <S>
I hope you enjoy this film. I aim to educate and entertain. And I hope those on Tuesday Night feel as though it was worth it. I hope you can forgive any errors that may be.
<S>
It’s a Zip file, so save to desktop
Film Length:~23 minutes
Film Size: 216MB

Yup, I'm downloading as well. Big file, 211mb, so those of you on a dial up are gonna have to set aside a few hours to get it.

<-----watching it a second time.
Some of the carrier shots were unreal!
10:51 was by far and away my favorite shot.
WTG Kermit on a great film!

I'll be shutting down the link in about 1 hour. Later a new version will be posted. It will only have very minor edits. It will also be a larger file due to a bit higher quality encoding. ~250mb instead of 211mb.
From all of us,
Thank you for watching.

Dang Kermit, Ya just couldn't leave well enough alone? Now I gotta download and give praises all over again? It really sucks to see my name on the big screen ya know.
-
I posted it on Friday so that I could spread the word about the Doolittle Raid on the anniversary date.
Now that I'm back home, I did some more editing to it this morning. I should have pulled the plug on Saturday so that no one could download it.
I'd like those that did download it earlier to redownload it, if they liked it the first time. It's now got more scenes from the actual doolittle raid footage at the end, along with a few typos fixed and a line or two more of text information. The quality was bumped up anotch, but nothing really noticable.
Awesome job 4440! <S>!

Sorry, my server is down. I had gigs of bandwidth this month and they all went away in hours.
May have to wait until next month to see the film, which sucks. Hundreds of downloads at a nearly 300mb file size = byebye server bandwidth.
There's something I didn't think about. Doh!
-
You know if you split it into 3 parts I know a good free online storage site that allows up to upload files up to 100mb each with 5gigs total, no bandwidth limitation, and people don't need to sign up to download.

Ahh, the premier is near. Just need to sit on it for a day before I send it off to those who helped make this film.
Once they approve, and also once the Forum is back to normal, I'll post the new link in the Films & Screen Shots part of this forum.
<----making a backup of as much data on my HD as I can, just in case.

Now playing in "Select Theaters". Those that helped make this film have been given a link to download the film.
I'll be working on uploading it to a website for all to download. Aiming for this friday. I'll post the link in the Film & Screenshots Forum.
Your comments were much appreciated during the 4 weeks of editing whenever I needed to be recharged. Thank you.
