Title: For you luft-experts...
Post by: Serenity on April 20, 2008, 02:53:25 AM
...Anyone know if the Messerschmitt logo appeared anywhere on the 109? What other brand/company logos were there, such as those seen on props?

Never seen it anywhere noticeable.

I dunno about world war 2 planes but most props have some sort of logo.  As for the aircraft themselves I've never heard of logo's apart from noseart and squadron markings being present, the only place I would think there could be something is in the cockpit?

I was thinking small little logos on the parts that were made by other companies such as the prop label in the picture above.

And lyric, thank you. I cannot see just what it says, but I have a couple dozen logos and markings from several German aircraft companies circa WWII, so I will see if I have anything that matches that.
