Title: Seahawks cut Shaun Alexander
Post by: Ripsnort on April 22, 2008, 08:18:38 PM
 :cry
I liked Shaun.  The writing was on the wall with Duckett and Jones strolling into contracts. Oh well, guess Julius will have to punish the Cowboys on Thanksgiving day.  :D

You might want to back far away from that statement.

Hasn't Jones already punished the 'Pokes enough already?

Yeah, the writing was on the wall when they began starting Barber. JJ isn't a terrible running back in the NFL, but he wasn't what the Cowboys' were looking for.

He's not a clutch player, he has no heart. Stop him for a couple series and he's done for the rest of the game. Maybe this trade will wake him up.

While it's true Shaun's productivity has fallen in recent years, he did provide years of steller service.  He was a large part of our superbowl year.

I wish him well.

Now the 'boys traded for Pacman Jones.  Wonder what he will be good for.

Should be good for at least another fist fight and a shooting! ;)
