Title: Firefox and Youtube
Post by: Yknurd on April 23, 2008, 01:06:27 PM
I cannot watch youtube videos in Firefox.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Or more pertinent, did anyone have this problem and fix it?

FLV videos work in IE.  I've uninstalled and re-installed Flash several times.  I've searched Google and haven't really found much.

Using FireFox 1.5.0.12 and YouTube vids play ok on my end.

Firefox installs the flash player automatically if it's missing. Unless you use it on linux, then major problems may occur.

Saw provided the answer.

I deleted my profile, removed Firefox, re-installed, and create a new profile manually and it works.

I have a problem with My space, not You tube.

When I try to watch My space videos, none of them appear.  No music, no nothing.  However, the one on my My space itself is working perfectly.  I have direct x updated.

Is there something I'm missing?

Nope you're not missing anything if you cannot get video from myspace.
