I flow the seafire for the first time last night and really liked it and was wondering what the most similar land version of it was???
-
Spit 5. Almost directly.
-
I find it to be more like the Spit 9.

Yep. Me too.

Hmmmm. Interesting Ill try both.

The actual Seafire MkIIC though, I'm pretty sure is a Spitfire V, whether or not it 'feels' like it. I'll check though.

Closest to a Spitfire Vc
-
I think its between a 5&9, slower then a 9 like the 5 but with the ammo load of a 9
-
it falls apart like all the spits, just lob any kind of round at it, and a wing pops off......if flown well it's quite good though...but it lacks blue paint.

but it lacks blue paint.
two of the spit 5 skins have blue paint!!! don't think the seafire has though.

It is more a less a Spit V with extra cannon shells and carrier landing equipment. I have attached the link below from Soda's aircraft evaluation website. It is a good write up on this bird. Take some time to review his site writeups on all sorts of aircraft in AH. Good source for info!
