Title: yanno... la7?
Post by: Shane on April 24, 2008, 05:24:08 PM
I know I don't fly these days.. who knows down the road...

Anyway, with the "toot your horn" threads, I thought:

I know I was pretty damn good in an La 7, but is that all I want to be remembered for, well, other than the smackage and training?

I think I was just as good in a lot of planes, and I flew them all in the same aggressive way, to their envelopes:

P51's?
Jugs?
Hogs?
109's?

I did fairly well across the entire set - some of the ones that gave me the most difficulty in flying my preferred style were the 38's and 190's.  Drex, Levi et al also pwn'd in just about anything they were in.

I greatly enjoyed the diversity and adversity that AH/2 provided. I stick around, knowing HT and Co. will continue to evolve this product.  Now, if only the friggin' joystick manufacturers had a clue...

The next time you're eyeing a lower icon a little away from the furball, ask yourself, "Can I take him?"

yeah.. upto a Lion 2 and Monty, with an essex, soon to be lexington... still as mindless as ever, with the player-base having a collectively lower IQ than a troop of retarded baboons.

you quite rightly are remembered for your verbal masturbation but RUNNING away is my biggest memory of you.  If it wasn't a baby seal, after a couple of turns it was "meek meek" and off into the distance like the road runner.
