I joined Big Week as a walk-on sunday, and I was proud to fly a bomber with the 305th bomber group. Was a lot of fun, but there was something that really bothered me...
We all got killed very early. Our formation was still scattered when LW fighters engaged, and the little friends were having a picknick somewhere else. So after being killed I joined someone else as a gunner...
I saw at least twentie bombers flying on the deck. They were just flying below 1K alt, so they wouldnīt be spotted. What the heck is the fun in that? It kinda pissed me off... I had thought better from the AH community. Nothing historical in that. Really quite a downer for me.
Is the scenario corps going to do something about that? I hope so, because I didnīt really think it was fun. The rest of the whole big week was very fun tough, my compliments to the people who put it together.

Low Level runs are being looked at by the CM Staff for the next 2 frames.
Glad you had fun other wise.
I am sure there are several bomber groups looking to fill holes / open spots in thier ranks if you can make it next Sunday.
