Title: Cloverfield

  I was doubting that Id be happy with this movie, with all the reports of shakiness of the vidcam effects, and all the hype usually means bad movie. But I really liked it. It had some cool scenes in it. I wish it had no vidcam effect, but overall I was happy with it. Best surprise from movieland in a while.

I thought it was really well done.  Some silliness, but overall very good and effective, had me white knuckled a couple of times.

I was waiting to rent or do the pay-per-view thing for it on TW Cable

It looked good but the reviews were iffy....which is usually a sure sign its good  :)

The spider things... with the 'warble warble warble' sound... totally creepy.

  At the end where the old part of the vid of the guy and girl at Coney Island looking out over the water you see something fall from the sky and splash in the water. I actually missed it, my wife caught it and I went back to see it. Pretty cool.
