Thanks for the incredible detail into the life of Brucke Dickinson.  I've got a photo somewhere when he came for a checkout to rent one of the flying club's airplanes.  I wasn't full time then and was working with a student on that particular day (April 2005 comes to mind...) but he was very cordial and professional.

Bruce Dickinson not only flies for the airlines and sings in some band :rock But he presented a series of documentaries called 'Flying Heavy Metal' (gettit pun pun) in which he flew various commercial airliners. A very entertaining series particularly for someone like myself who still hopes to make it onto the flight deck one of these days.  Having said that, my current mini airliner has something resembling a flight deck, complete with overhead panel. Unfortunately none of my passengers like to stay for my landings. There's always a big rush for the exit when I get to flight lever 10 :lol

and short.

I called him 'shorty' one time and he offered to show me how to fence.  I declined the offer.

I told him I don't play swords with short people.
