I've always used a saitek twisty and probably always will.  I just don't see a big enough difference in performance to pay so much for them.

1. yes

2. yes

3. get the pro pedals - they have toe-brakes.

(imaginary 4.) yes, buy the Fighterstick and Pro Throttle as well. You will never regret it.

I can highly recommend the CH Pro pedals not only for their performance and features, but also for reliability.  I've owned these pedals for more than 4 years without a single issue.

Messiah, you probably didn't give pedals enough time. They are leaps and bounds better than twist-action rudder.

Tater, they work excellent in bombers because you no longer bank your wings when trying to get a shot (just unmap the twist-action on your current stick) and when you apply rudder to bank for a shot, it's controlled and does what you want. It's also far easier to keep formation than with my old picky twist-action (assuming you keep formation from one of the turret positions).

It's much more useful in fighters, because the input of your rudder does not spike/fluctuate depending on the pitch/bank inputs you make on the stick as you are fighting. Also, because of simple human ergonomics, a twist-action will always be easier to twist "inwards" (towards the torso) than "outwards" (away from the torso), and with rudder pedals you are equally effective in either direction.

If you're just learning [to use pedals], go for used pedals.

No, seriously! There's a lot of used ones out there! They're a mere fraction of what those new pedals cost. I don't think I'd justify the price of new pedals in this crappy economy. However, used ones? That's much more managable.

I have all Ch products Pro pedals pro throttle and F-16 fighter stick all these controls working together leaves hands off the keyboard and all functions on the controls. I only leave the controls to type. The controls are expensive and if you dont play that much I wouldnt get them but if your a diehard player run to teh store fast and snach them up ASAP they will improve your skill a great deal. They can be used with bombers fighters and GV's.

That's where I got my set of CH Pro pedals and CH Fighterstick USB... 4 years ago and they're still as strong as Day One.

To answer your questions:

Q1. will they help a terrible fighter get better after i learn to use them
A1. Yes.  And they will help your ground game, too, because you'll be able to pivot your tank at the same time you rotate your turret.

Q2 can they be used with bombers and gvs?
A2 Yes.  See A1.

Q3 i saw a website is it chpro something thanks for the insight in advance
A3 CH Pro is the top of the line model.  It's expensive to buy, but it will last forever and the pedals can be used for racing games, too.
