I seem to hear a mysterious ticking noise.....
Anyhow, before Voldemort blows himself (up) again [<--- sorry, couldn't resist that :P ], I've updated my 72 plane mission I posted a few days ago to include over 104 planes (I don't know the exact number).
So far, it includes:
P-47D-25
Spitfire 14
Bf109K4
Ta152
P-51D
A-20
Boston III
Mosquito
P-40B
C.205
Fw190D9
Bf110G2
P-38(J?)
B-25H
Yak9U
Yak9T
F4U4
Tempest
Ki-84
A6M5b
Fw190F8
And anyway, here's the link:

Have fun ! :D :D

Nice mission bud! Found it amusing that a B25H was keeping up with my Dora in a 450mph dive. :lol
-
hehe nice
had lots of fun :D

Thanks, if you have any more plane requests, just post them here and I'll be happy to add them.

B29? :D

I wish :D

I just downloaded yours..man..that was fun. I already posted the thread in the other one. Oooops. Could you add the P40E?
-
Yea, I'll do that within about 90 mins. I also need to make it so that the planes which spawn in later on get close enough to the enemy to engage - I've noticed multiple flights of planes just flying over the furball, rather than actually participating in it.

Sweet brother. Another thing I have noticed is when it warps you to the furball, its as if you had just takin off. No speed.
P.S. As a somewhat of a noob..this really helps in your ACM.
I'm gonna recommend this to another new guy in my squad thats wants to improve.
Thank you for putting in the time and effort to create this. :rock

Sure, no problem. I'm glad you like it :)
I'll put in the P-40E in a few minutes.

I just tried updating it....
Please see this thread for details:

Not sure what happened. It froze on me just as the warp was supposed to occur. You might look around that area. Not like I know what I'm talking about anyways. I can't wait for the finished product.

Nice mission, thanks!
Would it be possible to add Spitfire 8? I fly it pretty often and, it looks like this mission is very good to for practice.

Any way you can upload it to a location that doesn't require a login and password to download?

Yossarian's done that since then. The link on the Offline Missions list on the wiki (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/wiki/index.php/Offline_Missions) works fine for me without needing a login. Usually the wiki has the latest links - forum posts are sometimes out of date.
-
Thanks. I didn't know he'd put a list on the wiki.
Personally, though, I think one out to keep the forum more up-to-date than the wiki. It's going to be the primary source for folks keeping up with these updates, IMO.

I'll put up another file of the mission soon (probably later tonight) that has the planes more spread out amongst the different routes (so that they arrive at the furball area with as little delay as possible), and also with a group of planes or two added.

I've been maintaining that list on the wiki, and one reason is because the forums are inherently badly suited to updating information - you can't edit older posts, so the outdated links hang around. There's no way to have a single up-to-date list somewhere on the forum. This was a good example - Yossarian did post a newer link, but the older link was still around. On the wiki we have a compact up-to-date list in one place.
The link to the wiki offline missions list (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/wiki/index.php/Offline_Missions) is a sticky in this forum. That's usually be the quickest way to find missions now. Anyone can edit that list to add their own missions, or if you're not confident in editing the wiki, PM me or leave a message on my wiki talk page (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/wiki/index.php/User_talk:Wantok) and I can add it for you.
The wiki is slowly going to become the primary repository for much of the AH information - help, training, aircraft/vehicle info, etc. Wikis are much better suited to any kind of centralised information that needs to be kept up to date than forums.
