different materials that the planes are made from?  Different size bullets that hit you?

i been vulched in all kinds of planes, by all kinds of planes, and they all have the same bullet hit sound, but the la7 is completly different. P51, 38 B17, 24, 262, you name its the same, only la7 is different.

I don't know, but the La-7 was a mostly wooden airframe so maybe they have a different hit sound for wood. The La-5FN and Mosquito ought to share this hit sound if this is correct.

In your La7 sound folder you might have hit sounds placed in it. Thats the only thing i could think of.
