Title: DOSbox
Post by: DREDIOCK on April 29, 2008, 07:39:04 AM
frustrating peice of software

Anyone know how to make the window size larger when running old games through it?

Why hasnt someone written some sort of association  routine for it allowing you to just click on the executable of the file you want to run through it?

Or at least some sort of routine that when you run it. it automatically "mounts" to a specific diectory thus allowing you to just type in "dir"?

Annoing little thingie. But as some may know my gaming rig is screwed. and until I collect up all the parts for a new one so's I can get back in the game. I wanted something to pass the time.
Figured I'd revisit some of the old games I used to play.

I think you change the window size in the DOSBOX.Conf. file

where it says

                  fullscreen=false    delete false

                  fullscreen=           << should say that

 SAVE it then open dos box again.

here are a few sites for gameshttp     http://www.xtcabandonware.com/

Thanks. Already downloaded a few I havent even seen in ages.
2 of which are "Age of rifles" (full version)

And "Patton Vs Rommel"

LOL its fun but this game is every bit as screwed up as I remember it.
Playing as Patton.
Twice completely destroyed the german forces and twice it was ascored as a German Victory   :huh
