Ok here is my idea to stop spawn camping. Put mine fields around the spawn and if a enemy spends more then a couple of seconds in a spawn they blow up. The enemy will recieve a warning saying U have entered a spawn exit imeadeantly. If the enemy douse not leave he blows up
-
Then whats the point in ground fighting :huh? We need to get close enough to smack the vehicle hangars, and we need to be in the base. I for one don't agree to blowing up when going into enemy V.S. (Vehicle Spawns). The idea of having mines around the base is good, i agree to that. Makes it more challenging to get in and not almost impossible. :)
-
I have a feeling he got this idea from Red Orchestra.
I say no to it for the same reason as Valerio made. We have to get close to the vbase to drop hangars with gv rounds, and what about the M3??
-
Same, most tanks need to be up close to actually damage the hangars. Awesome mine field idea, but horrible "Blow the hell up when close to base" idea.

sounds good but did the SKD or m3 or jeep have mines to plant in WW2? ALso, u need to be pert sneaky to sneak into their spawn and plant them.
-
no mines at a base just at spawns
-
SPAWN (BASE). :rofl :rofl :lol :lol
The idea is part stupid, good try but it just wont work. Who will plant them, and really i agree. Jeeps rarely had mines and all they could hold were 2-3. How will you cover the whole Spawn (BASE)?
Ex:
__
____| \_ (Vehicle)
|____|_|_]
O O ________^(mine)___________
BOOOM!BAM!BOOM!BAAAAM!BOOOOOOM! (exploding car)
General:****! No way in, its impossible. Some baboon must of thought of MINES around VS.
GUYWHOWANTEDMINES:Man, now its annoying being on the ground...
WHOMADETHETHREAD:Sorry you guys, i didn't mean it.
And thats what would of happened if there were mines all around the SPAWN (BASE).
-
i like the idea of just dropping mines from transport vehicles m3,jeep, e.t.c
mines around base worst idea i have heard since b-29/nuke :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious :furious

buts i says no mines around base just around spawns to stop spawn campers not hanger campers
-
Hangar campers? First its around the spawn, then base, which means the same, now hangar? Were do you want to place them?!

If you think a spawn is camped then up a plane with bombs. Problem solved.

No it doesn't mean the same.
While you can "spawn" out of the vehicle hanger(base)
you can also "spawn" at 1 of the actual, in the game, SPAWN POINTS!
Be it NE, or N or any other compass heading allowed by the current location.
It would be wise grasshopper to actually learn the game before "rolling your eyes"
at an idea which actually has some merit.
The idea of mining the enemies spawn point before starting a GV run to
there town and base appeals to me very much.
Certainly mines were laid in WW2, and while i do not know how many GVs
fell victim to them the idea merits some discussion.

if you want mine fields then we should have mine clearing tanks

no.

One of the main problems i see in this is that we would need to develop counter measuers for them.(probably a new vehicle or attachment to Sherman)
-
Its hard enough trying to get in a VS, without having a hidden enemy tank locking its sites on you and then blowing you into bits. If this is going to happen then i want every tank upgraded with better armor, even tiger, it couldn't take hits from mines... And to add to that, it wouldn't make the tanks REAL, they would have more armor that was never put on them in WWII.
Nice try though. :rofl
