Title: Carrier Scenarios ?

Since I am not an expert on the planes sets in AH yet - what kind of CARRIER Scenarios are possible - with or without plane substitution ?

Jordi...you are in luck my friend.  We have a new Tour of Duty starting Friday, Nov 9th.  The Tour this time is called "Clearing the Phillipines."  Check the Events site for the details.  It is a squad only event, but squads are allowed to take guests.  The only stipulation is you must be signed up as a guest in a squad in order to fly.

Not sure Jordi, but it may be too late for your squad to join for the next TOD.  Give it a try though.  If not, you can always join a squad as a guest if you want.

there have been a couple of Snapshots run with carriers.  Torpedo 8 was a lot of fun.  Allieds had TBMs and F6Fs and the Axis just launched Zekes.  Torps were supposed to hit the japanese fleet, zekes were supposed to patrol and find them.

Right now, we don't have much of a planeset for CV ops.

US - 4 Corsair variants (I assume all are carrier operational), the TBM and the Hellcat.
Brits - Seafire MkII
Japanese - A6M5b

Hopefully, we'll see some Kates and Vals, along with a SBD Dauntless (or Devastator) in the next version or so.  Couldn't really do a good early Pac scenario with that as we'd have to sub the later Zeke and Hellcat for the early Zeke and Wildcat.  

The Japanese forces look like they're getting the Peggy in 1.09, but she's a land based light bomber/heavy fighter if I'm not mistaken.
