Title: Few questions regarding Big Week.
Post by: Urchin on November 10, 2001, 08:39:00 PM
1. Will the Axis side have radar coverage?

2. Will the Allied bombers have an altitude cap, or will they be allowed to fly however high they want to?

3. Will all the Allied fighters be given enough fuel to escort the bombers to the target and back, or only the P51's?

Bump, appreciate an answer even if I think I know what it will be.

You'll just have to be patient, Urchin, and wait and see.  :)

But I can tell you that the Germans will have *some* radar coverage. The bombers won't be flying at 35k and the escorts will probably be able to take as many drop-tanks as they want.

I hope that's as vague as it sounds.  ;) Remember that the terrain is still being built, so things are going to need adjusting when we get our hands on it for testing etc.

Question on arena settings?

Will kill shooter be enabled? And does it apply to buff gunners anyway?

Killshooter? Is it something buffgunners/escort have to worry about?

Yea, killshooter affects buff gunners just like normal.  Well, it probably won't be just like normal, they will shoot down the guy they are shooting at instead of shooting down their host.

Yes, killshooter will be enabled.

Urchin,

1. Yes, some.

2. Yes, some kind of alt cap will be enforced via strong upper jet stream winds.   :)

3. Not sure yet, depends how the terrain turns out. We'll be doing some testing as soon as the terrain is complete and determine what the fuel burn rate needs to be.
