Ok how to explain?  OK lets say there are a bunch of icons that are blocking the view of the airplane in front of you.  That plain would have a box around it that would show planes but their icons wouldn't show up inside that box.  Hope that explains it.

There is a key that will cycle through the various icon options that will do it for you - turn them off, then turn them on again, if that's what you want.

I do this in FSO when landing to rearm. There is usually so many Icons in the runway I cannot see it to land safely, so I cycle through with <Alt><I> until the icons go away. Then I land, rearm and turn them back on again when I take off again.

Why are you the 27th guy in chasing that plane?  The first 26 aren't enough?
