Fix the tailwheel bug! :pray
I know this is a minor issue but it's been a minor issue for a loooooooooooooong time now. It seems all 190 and 109s are affected, the other a/c I don't know about but the LW rides need a fix.
:salute

You mean on the rides that did not historically have a non or otherwise partially retracting tail wheel? Some models of the 109's did not feature a retractable tail wheel and the 190's believe only had a partially retracting tail wheel. I'm sure a Luftwobble will be along to either confirm this or set me straight. :)

i thought the 109 had a retractible tairl weel
-
Thought the ME 109s had semi-retractable tail wheels that were often locked in the down position?
ack-ack
-
My understanding was that on the 109's some had a fully or at least mostly retractable tail wheel (thinking of the 109F) while others had a fixed/non-retractable. But I'm stuck at the office and going from memory so I could be wrong. In fact even if I was at home I would probably be wrong too but that's besides the point. :)

I think the 109s are ok with their current tail wheels, although I believe the 109g-6 should have a non-retractable one as the g-14 does.
190s don't seem to retract nearly as much as they should.
A quick search has yielded a few pics for comparison with the 190s in AH:

I also found 1 Youtube video:

landing gear extend in the first minute and retract around 7:00.

Some 109s had fixed tailwheels, some retractable, and some partially so. The only bug I am aware of is that the shadow in the game shows the K-4's tailwheel as down, even when it is retracted.

only the g2 and k4 did

The entire 109F series had a retractable tailwheel. The E series and G series did not. The K-4 reintroduced the retractable tailwheel.

There we go, luftwobbles to the rescue!
sheesh took ya long enough...

Give me a break, don't be so picky. Yes the 190 had a semi-retractable tailwheel, it used to retract properly but that was at least a couple years ago. Some models of the 109 had retractable tailwheels. Just look at my avatar pic of the Dora, tailwheel is sticking out as it always is in AH. After a few years I'm kinda sick of it... :frown:

You know the graphics have no effect on the flight model, right? They could give us a brick and give it the flight model of a Ki-43 if they wanted to.
-
Yes Karnak, this is not the issue here. I want them to fix the graphics model.

All those new guys been harassing you about your non-semi retractable tailwheel when it should be semi retractable? Damn them.

Guess you'll just have to fly the Ta152 instead. ;)
-
Yes, please, fix the 190s tailwheel.
Should be semi-retracted and it sticks out like dog's balls.

This is a WWII simulation, why are you talking about the F-4 Phantom? ;)
