The Kennedy we all Love to Hate.
But lets not forget...he has seen both of his older Brothers killed and buried. Buried kinfolk older and much younger. Even I don't agree with his personal and political life, but he still has a life. He's been through a hell of alot in his.
With that I wish him well and may he either soon recover or peacefully slip away without pain.
Take Care Teddy.

we have all had ups and downs in our lives.. that does not mean we have the right to destroy the lives and freedoms of others tho.

I could easily wish him well if his only failing was trying to foist a dangerous political policy on America. Politics is politics and there can be room for honest disagreement, etc. However, the entire Chappaquiddick thing appalls me to the core. It is readily apparent that his cowardice and desire to avoid responsibility for his initial actions (potential DUI and being with a woman other than his wife) led to reckless driving that put the car in the water.
Further, once that happened he delayed for hours calling political minders and damage control folk to save his bellybutton and his political career instead of medical first responders for Mary Jo Kopechne. His claimed head injury at that time was used to justify how he responded so poorly to getting help (but oddly, not so poorly where help for his career was concerned). Forensic evidence suggests that she was alive for several hours breathing from an air pocket before the air ran out.

And yet, he got away with it. The people of Mass. barely batted an eye where this Kennedy royal was concerned. While Mary Jo has decomposed in the ground he went on to a long and “distinguished” career in Congress.
Again, I can’t really wish him well. I think of Teddy and all I feel is disgust. Can’t really wish him poor – not my place to judge his future mortality, as such. Others have far more right to that. In a perfect world he will finally find himself accountable to some higher power.

I agree Charon.
He is scum and should be doing time.

I think that the "x-ray" of homer simpson showing the walnut in his skull is pretty accurate as far as kennedy's brain is concerned. The rest of the space in there would just be filled with scotch.
-
No actually there is no proof that he has a brain.
There is proof that he has a tumor where his brain should be.
Nuff said?
:)
-
I would like to offer my condolences to the brain tumor for being located in Ted Kennedy's brain.
-
I don't agree with his politics but Folks, the man is down, This is no time to kick him. We need to offer him our prayers.
-
he is scum. there is no doubt of that. I do hope that he does not get back into a position to harm more people but.. I can't help but think that so long as he breathes.. it is bad for the country and anyone he can have any effect on.

Say one for Mary Jo Kopechne's family while you are at it. But, I do agree that the time to have kicked him is not really now but when he let her drown/suffocate in the air pocket in the back floorboard of his car while he busted his bellybutton for hours in political damage control.

Saved his career? That ruined his career- he could never run for Pres. because of it, nor even Veep.

And he had to settle for life-long serve as a Senator.
By "save his career," Doc means "Didnt go to JAIL."
-
Exactly :aok
-
And of course all of you would have done exactly the right thing in his boots?
Screwed up and sad, now he has a tumour that will probably kill him in a most wicked way. I wish the tumour moves to,,,Charles Manson...
