I'd like to offer a hearty <S> to my fellow Rooks in LWB last night, who spent all their time playing with the uncapturable bases in the NE corner at Nitland and disregarded call after call for reinforcements on the drive in the South. We had plenty of guys packing iron, all we needed was 5-10 furballers to keep enemy aircover busy so we could finish off towns and get in troops.
Y'know what? Just because not everyone likes the base capture game doesn't mean that both types of players can't work together.

cool! so you're saying while the furballers don't need the hamstard landgrubbers, the reverse doesn't hold up?
have you hugged your furballer today?
-
So you want people who are having fun doing what they are doing, to drop that and support your idea of fun ... for what ? ... a measly 25 perk bonus per category for resetting the map ? ... which will only start over again in a matter of 10 minutes.
What would happen if the furballers asked the landgrabbers to drop what they are doing and come and join in the furball because the odds in the furball are getting lopsided ?
Your right ... it has been said before and it always boils down to ... "To each their own".

Y'know what? I'm not a resource for the internet napoleons. The ltowns, babas, and saxmans of AH need to chill the hell out.

I was one of the guys in the NE corner. With the dar that the nits where throwing up we needed to be there to keep them from grabbing our fields. For a few hours they had two full dar bars over there.I'd like to SALUTE the guys at 21&22 for holding these bases for they were coming in at 20K and GVs on the fields. We kept our ord and dar up and kicked their arses. :salute

hubs,
So the other side of the coin doesn't get to speak IT'S feelings? I see enough :cry :cry :cry from the furballers on the boards over guys "spoiling" a fight by knocking down ordinance, or vehicles, or just plain capturing a base and making you fly an extra ten miles to find another fight. God forbid the base-capture guys have the right to vent THEIR frustrations on the board.
Chill out yourself.

So, are you trying to say that 2 sides should work together? No offense, but that kind of ruins the purpose of 3 teams KILLING eachother... :lol :aok
p.s. I'm bishop, so I dont think this could really get me involved too much. I do love furballing, just disco too much...

i don't fly LW.....but even in MW, i tend to ignore these calls for help if i'm in a good furball. that's where the fun is for me. on top of that, do you have any clue how many times i've answered someone's call for help only to have them either use me for bait, or for them to bail out of the original mission they claimed? then i'm stuck there in a 20-1. BAH!
:O

1Plus:
I mean the two sides in the internal civil wars.

I'm sure there were plenty of rooks to take the bases in question Saxman. Just because you guys couldn't take some precious pixel real estate, don't blame those who had no part in the "failure." Blame the toolsheddies that were sucking it up and dying to what was probably minimal resistance.

The furballers complain when someone makes an effort to intentionally spoil their fun, while you're complaining that people ignored you, letting you do your own thing while they did theirs. There's a fairly pronounced difference.

you know...i luv these guys that "expect" everyone to play the game as they play it. there was a dude (squeaker) last night that was cussin up a storm on country channel because he and a few of his friends took a base and no one would stop what they was doing just to go help them defend their new found (in stangs words) "pixel real estate". calling all the bish nasty names and stuff. anyways my point to him last night was that NOT everyone plays the game the way everyone else wants to. i'm a furballer, i luv a good furball, thats what i do, i will SOMETIMES help with a base but that doesn't happen often any more.
yall need to realized that every one of us are individuals. we pay our payment to HTC to play the game we want to play and how we play it. everyone of us have our own reasons to be in the game. or our own preferences on how we like to do things. it doesn't make us bad people for it. it makes us unique in our own way.
i think that as noobs log in they see this as a "war" that needs to be won. they just ASSUME that we all play for the same reason. isn't there a place on the home sheet that we can put "hey u play how u play and we'll play how we play" or something. this is just MHO.
<<S>> all
dismissed...

Let's stop showing noobs the ropes, and stop giving tips to people stuck on a plateau, and go straight for the kill rather than let fights go on for a bit.. It's our fifteen bucks after all...

have you hugged your furballer today?
That's so funny, I'm putting it in my signature.
